Authors should highlight the novelty and significance of their case report in their cover letter.

Ethical Standards

All case reports involving human subjects must comply with international ethical standards:

  • Human studies must adhere to ICMR guidelines and the Declaration of Helsinki
  • Authors must provide evidence of Institutional Ethics Committee approval upon request
  • Informed written consent details must be clearly documented
  • Patient privacy and confidentiality must be protected
  • In pilot clinical studies ethics committee approval details should be included under 'Materials and Methods.'
