Polyherbal Medicine (Kyuhr Cancer Kit) as supportive treatment with Ayurvedic Rasayana therapy in tongue Cancer-A Case report

Abstract

Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the world. Although we have achieved victory over many universal myths with the help of our wisdom and superfast innovative technologies, still world is incapable of finding the powerful solution and remarkable health remedies in the treatment of cancer. Cancer is one of the dreadful diseases on the earth in current scenario which affects the mankind with not only physically but psychologically, socially and financially too. Understanding the importance of our ancient science through their literature and Samhita (Grantha: Charak Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Astanga Hridaya etc.). A 45 years old male patient came to OPD with the compaints of growth over tongue, swelling over jaws and dysphagia for six months. The patient was referred to oncologist for further evaluation and management for the same. The patient was diagnosed as tongue carcinoma by oncologist and operated for the same. The total glossectomy with neck dissection and tracheostomy was done and oncologist told that patient will die within 3 months. After that patient again consulted to our OPD for further ayurvedic management of post-surgical wound.  Researchers has started evaluating clinically the strength of herbs and spices in the combination with standard modern medicine science. Therapeutic strategies in the role of combating and preventing the spread of the cancer in mankind. Combined treatment with the natural science sources may helpful for the cancer patients to overcome this disease. The combination of integrated medicine i.e.modern science and Ayurveda will be the New Ray of hope for today's  scenario and for  next generation in cancer management. In this case report, Polyherbal Preparation Medicine (kyuhr Cancer Adjuvant Therapy) was selected as an Adjuvant therapy with Ayurvedic Rasayana Therapy in tongue Cancer. The medicine was given for the period of one Year and two months and result was found in Six Months and Patient is living is healthy life since 1.2 years without any complications. This single case demonstrates that tongue carcinoma (Post-surgical) can be managed with the Ayurvedic medicines as an adjuvant treatment.
